Residual Haunting
| Residual Haunting; Often referred to as an anniversary haunting. This type of haunting is attached to a home, land, castle or sometimes an event. This haunting will repeat over and over again, but is seldom interactive with the living. It usually is generated from some horrific or emotionally charged act. a bloody battle or tragedy?? But is not limited to such an event. It could be a radio turning on over and over again at one specific time. This type of haunting will only dissipate after the energy cease's to exist. There is some controversy about a haunting being both residual and intelligent, such as generated by a murder. It will repeat itself over and over again until the crime is solved and the tormented spirit is satisfied. |
